Commitment to
Dignity

Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Letter from the President

Hello!

Welcome to the Omega Sigma Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi! My name is Mallory Pool, and I am honored to serve as the Chapter President here at Oklahoma State University. As you navigate our website, I hope it is apparent that we have a strong sisterhood and work to uphold our four values: character, dignity, scholarship, and college loyalty.

Something I am proud of as an Omega Sigma woman is that our chapter strives to be inclusive and authentic, as well as giving a space for our members to establish sisterly bonds that last a lifetime. AOII is my forever home and I think I speak for all of Omega Sigma when I say this chapter has pushed its members to be the best versions of themselves.

Ever since I walked through those red doors during 2021 recruitment, I knew this was a place I could be myself and thrive in college. The emotions and love I felt during preference round is a feeling that has stayed with me for a year and a half now, and one I know will stay with me throughout my life. AOII gives me a confidence I didn’t know I had, and the women I surround myself with everyday have shaped me into the leader I am today. I strive for every person who walks into 1407 West Fourth Avenue to feel the same love, confidence, and belonging that I do.

I am eternally grateful for everything I have received since becoming a member of AOII. These women and this chapter have provided far more for me than I am able to put into words, and I wholeheartedly believe that every member who puts forth the love and effort will gain unique experiences that last a lifetime. I have met friends who have laughed with me, cried with me, and are leading this chapter with me side by side. The bonds we make at this time in our lives are the ones that will stick with us for the rest of it, and I can say with the confidence I have gained that there is nothing quite like being an Omega Sigma woman.

Alpha Love and Mine,

Mallory Pool
