Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

College Loyalty

From collegiate years on through alumnae involvement, the reason AOIIs continue service is the joy of spending time together and sharing the insights learned from the relationships we build and sustain.

Letter from the President

.Welcome to the Omega Sigma Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi! I hope this website give you a glimpse of the sisterhood we celebrate and the women we aspire to be. Our chapter strives for diversity, realizing that our differences allow us to learn from each other. We encourage a genuine sisterhood, creating a place where every woman can be comfortable in her own skin and confident in who she is. By focusing on character, dignity, scholarship, and college loyalty, we hope to provide every woman with the opportunities and resources to grow into the best version of herself.
When I joined AOII, I was eager to be part of this community of women and to help grow the chapter. I knew these women had seen something in me, and I could not wait to meet everyone and learn more about the chapter. In my transition from high school to college, I had lost confidence in my ability to lead others and spark change, but there were women in the chapter who encouraged me through my doubts and inspired me to get involved in the chapter. I have held leadership positions in the chapter ever since, and they have grown me so much. Most importantly, though, I got to help the community of women around me grow to be the best they could be. I now have the blessing to serve as chapter president, and I aspire to serve with love as my guiding light and to show others how much they are worth in everything I do. AOII has shown me how to be my true self no matter the circumstances.
Leadership is only one example of the many ways Alpha Omicron Pi has helped me and my sisters grow into confident young women. Together we are prepared to take on anything, knowing that we will always have the support of our sisters. AOII has given me a source of love and guidance in my life, and has given me a home away from home. I have learned my greatest lessons and made my favorite memories because of AOII. I have found mentors and lifelong friends, and I know I will have the love and support of this sisterhood for the rest of my life.

Alpha Love,

Anna Stallings
